myUSCIS Accounts H-1B Update

New Accounts and Registration:

  • myUSCIS Accounts: Launched February 28th, 2024, these allow organizations and legal representatives to collaborate on H-1B filings. A new organizational account is mandatory for the FY 2025 H-1B registration starting March 6th, 2024.

  • Technical Issues: USCIS is addressing issues experienced by legal representatives during account migration. Please re-login to your account to see if the issues have been resolved.

  • Registration Period: The FY 2025 H-1B cap registration opens March 6th (noon Eastern) and closes March 22nd (noon Eastern).

New Requirements:

  • Passport/Travel Document Information: Starting with FY 2025, registrants must provide valid passport or travel document information for each beneficiary. This must be the document they intend to use to enter the U.S. if issued an H-1B visa.

  • Unique Registrations: Each beneficiary can only be registered under one passport or travel document.

Upcoming Filings and Resources:

  • March: USCIS will launch online filing for Form I-129 (H-1B petitions) and associated Form I-907 (premium processing).

  • April 1st: USCIS will begin accepting online filing for H-1B cap petitions (selected registrations) and associated Form I-907.
