Green Card Info Change?

Got a new name, address, or other info? Here’s how to update your Green Card (Form I-551) using Form I-90:

  • What It’s For: Replace lost, stolen, damaged cards or update your name, address, or other biographic data.

  • Updating Info:

    • Mark the changes in Section 1 (your info).

    • Select the reason for filing in Section 2 (e.g., name change).

  • Gather Proof:

    • Name change: marriage certificate, court order, etc.

    • Address change: utility bill, lease agreement, etc.

    • Other changes: provide relevant documentation.

  • Fees Apply: Check USCIS website for current filing fee.

  • Mail It In: Submit the completed Form I-90 with any proofs and fees to the USCIS Lockbox designated for your area. Follow their instructions carefully!
