H-1B Registration Final Rule:
Prioritizes individuals: New "beneficiary-centric" system favors unique applicants over duplicate registrations.
Passport requirement: Valid passport information now mandatory for beneficiaries from FY 2025.
Flexible start dates: Petitions allowed for start dates after October 1st of the fiscal year.
Denial/revocation authority: USCIS can deny/revoke petitions based on invalid registrations or fraudulent information.
Fee update: $10 registration fee remains for March 2024, new fee schedule coming later.
Form I-129 update: New version available April 1st, reflecting rule changes.
FY 2025 H-1B Cap Registration:
Opens March 6th, 2024: Noon Eastern, closes March 22nd, 2024, noon Eastern.
Organizational Accounts and Online Filing:
Accounts launch Feb. 28th: Manage registrations, petitions, and Form I-907 submissions.
Online filing starts Feb. 28th: Non-cap H-1B petitions (Forms I-129 & I-907).
H-1B cap petition filing opens April 1st, 2024.
