Gather Your Documents:
Proof of DACA status (DACA approval notice)
Proof of identity (passport, birth certificate, ID)
Two recent passport photos
Any extras USCIS requests
Submit Your Application: Mail the completed form, documents, and filing fee to the USCIS Lockbox for your area (check the USCIS website).
Track Your Application: You'll get a receipt notice (Form I-797) confirming USCIS received it.
Biometrics Appointment (Possible): You might be called for fingerprinting, photo, and signature.
Get Your Work Permit (if approved): USCIS will mail your EAD with authorized work dates to the address you provided.
Important Reminders:
Apply early to avoid gaps in work authorization.
