How can I become a US Citizen?
To become a U.S. citizen, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Be at least 18 years old at the time of filing the naturalization application.
Be a lawful permanent resident (green card holder) for at least 5 years, or for at least 3 years if you are married to a U.S. citizen and have been living with your spouse for the past 3 years.
Be physically present in the United States for at least half of the time during the required residency period.
Have resided for at least 3 months in the state or USCIS district where you plan to file the naturalization application.
Demonstrate continuous residence in the United States since becoming a lawful permanent resident.
Be able to read, write, and speak basic English.
Have knowledge and understanding of U.S. history and government.
Be a person of good moral character.

After submitting your application, you will be required to attend a biometrics appointment, where your fingerprints and photo will be taken.
